Legendary producer and 'Burlesque Impresario' Chaz Royal said: "The World Burlesque Games 2013 is without doubt the world's greatest competition of international burlesque talent. After 7 years of producing London Burlesque Festival, it only made sense for us to run World Burlesque Games again after the success of the event we ran in 2012, in spirit of the Olympics. The WBG will now run annually in November outside of the regular London Burlesque Festival program. Starring the best in burlesque strip tease acts from around the globe, selected from over 300 submissions, this year's event is set to be even more glamorous. Participants will be competing for monetary and product prizes, endorsements and the coveted World Burlesque Games Crown in various categories."
